Incredible Glaswegian Songwriter Steven Young is back with a new single titled ”Bad Ideas In The Amazon” releasing on August 11th joined by producer Chris Marshall (Gerry Cinnamon, Baby Strange).
We’re extremely excited to listen to a new song from Steven Young, especially since his past 5 singles have been not only well produced but also, a blessing to our ears.
From his great voice leading the songs to the big changes he always delivers on each track, “Tangerine Drugstore” (great name) has us completely hooked. “Delirious World”, his last single left us breathless while “Chains, Island and Regalia” expanded our whole experience and gave us a tour of the type of music Steven Young is aiming to release.
But who is he?
Steven is an accomplished musician and songwriter, with his band The Imagineers appearing on The Late Late Show (CBS) with Craig Ferguson in 2012. He has received positive reviews from publications including The Scotsman, The Skinny, The Daily Record and The Evening Times.
To build on a hugely successful single launch show at King Tut’s in February, a slot at Vibration Festival (Falkirk) on Sunday 4th Sept is already in the diary but expect Steven to unveil more live performance dates in the very near future.
For those of you who didn’t listen to Steven Young yet, you can find his music here as well.
We love how he keeps re-inventing his sound, bringing something different to the table and keeping his music interesting, positive and full of surprises for the listener.
He has the talent to make catchy sounds that feel easy listening.
